About the Plinth
The Padded Plinth has been designed to house the base of the Magic Rainbow Tube, ensuring all of the more vulnerable elements of the tube are kept safety away from harm.
The plinth is built using high-quality plywood; a 50mm 6lb recon foam is them used over the surfaces of the plinth to ensure there are no external hard spots, this is then covered in PVC vinyl (the same material used in the manufacture of bouncy castles and inflatables), giving it a strong, easy to clean finish. This PVC vinyl is available in a wide variety of colours.

Optional Built-In Buttons
Designed for more demanding environments where a wireless remote would not be applicable – the plinth can include built-in, hard wearing padded buttons. These padded buttons sit directly in the plinth and can withstand a large amount of physical force. Appliqued (stitched on) designs indicate the buttons location and add colour and texture – ideal for people who are hard of sight.
If you would still like the use of the wireless remote for other people – no problem! The tube can use either inputs to control the interactive programs, allowing it to be used by a wide range of disabilities.
