Immersive Rooms transform a space into a fully interactive experience where the walls and floor become alive, creating a space that can be used for a wide variety of purposes; from education to rehabilitation, or just for for fun, our immersive rooms are an ideal tool for your school, care home, library or day centre.
What is an Immersive Room?
Using an array of projectors, images and videos are projected onto multiple surfaces of a room. Typically this will include at least 2 walls and the floor below. Motion tracking sensors installed around the room pick up on movement causing the projected images to react accordingly. This may be popping bubbles or kicking a football – there is a wide range of options available for you to choose from. Pictured right is just a handful of examples.
Can I create my own content?
Creating your own content is done through the powerful, but easy-to-use online application. Simply log into the website and edit your system from there – it really is that simple!
The interface is clear and concise, to making editing quick and easy. Full training on how to use the software is included with the installation, however, there is also an online chat facility is always there to help you out should you have any difficulties. This talks directly to a member of the Immersive Room team here in the UK.
Free Design Service
Our teams of expert designers will create 3D drawings for your proposed room, like the one pictured to the right of this text. This design will illustrate what can be achieved within your proposed space to help you to better visualise how the space will look once the installation is complete.

Points to consider
There are a few points to keep in mind when selecting a room for your immersive project.
- Projections work best on flat surfaces (such as the example image shown, right). If you have a wall with multiple protrusions (such as boxing, radiators or sockets), consider hiring an external contractor to board the wall to give a nice, smooth projection surface.
- Ensure the walls are painted white to give a clear projected image.
- When selecting floor for the room, pick a light-coloured, smooth vinyl. This can be a light grey if needed.
- The Immersive Room will run directly from a powerful PC. We will house this in a small cupboard that will need to be installed in the same room. Consider where this might be located.
