Big Screen Projection
Premier Solutions offer a complete service for the supply and installation of big screen media projectors, projection screens and displays for commercial, special needs and public buildings. Our FREE quotation service provides you with exactly the right projector and screen to suit your room, taking into consideration lighting conditions, focal distance and budget.
We can offer a wide range of manual, electric and rear projection screens along with a selection of special mounting brackets to enable screens and projectors to be installed in any application.
Special interactive software can also be provided to enhance the learning experience in both classrooms and Sensory Rooms. In nursing homes, dual purpose rooms can be created for both big screen media entertainment and calming.
We can even supply LED display screens suitable for indoor and outdoor use!
Interactive Projection Systems
Premier Solutions supply and install interactive sensory surfaces. This is where imagery is projected onto a suitable flat surface and you can interact with that image by walking over it or waving your hand; this includes Interactive Floor Systems and Interactive Wall Systems. You could even have the imagery projected onto the ceiling whilst you are lying on your back on the floor!
This provides a wealth of interactive experience for all individuals or groups regardless of their age or ability. Our system is designed for a variety of applications including; education, physical and social/rehabilitation purposes. The system encourages movement with both visual and audio rewards, providing a valuable tool for teachers and therapists by encouraging people to reach or move in certain ways and to assess cognitive understanding and memory skills using cause and effect. This enables the system to be used free from switches and wires and allows the image to react dramatically to the smallest of movements by a person. Whether solo or group interaction, the system is a fully inclusive piece of equipment with no barrier to a person’s physical ability.
With various themes as standard such as wipe, splat, scatter, living pond, living garden, water, sound surface, particles and wipe there’s something that will be applicable to everyone. There’s even two player games included to help with social interaction and teamwork.
BUDDY Mobile System
As well as installed systems we also have a mobile version who we call Buddy. The Premier Solutions Mobile Interactive Sensory Floor is unique in that the housing is shaped in a friendly robot design that we call “Buddy”. Being mobile he is not constrained to one room. as he can fit through standard doors. This is a totally portable, self-contained unit on wheels to allow to use it in any room. If required, they can be customised to look like your school mascot or a particular animal. In the past we have designed “Woolly”, the character for a Hospice in Ipswich.
Both installed and mobile systems are PC based so it’s easy for you to add your own content and create imagery for particular topics within your curriculum.
Onsite training is included by our interactive projection experts. They will take you through the system step by step answering any questions you have, making sure you get the most out of the Sensory Surface.
Green Screen Technology
This uses a video camera to capture a person or object and superimpose them on top of either a still or moving background. This can be recorded in real time so that when it is played back you can appear to be underwater, in the desert or riding a rollercoaster. This can be a great tool for those with special needs as it transports them into situations that are difficult for them to experience in everyday life. An example of this technology in everyday use is weather presenting on the television.
You are able to add your own photos or videos as background images and then stand in front of the camera and become part of the scene.
