A waterbed is an ideal addition to Sensory Rooms used by people who spend a lot of time in wheel chairs. The bed moulds itself around the body giving totally unrestricted support with no pressure points offering minimal surface pressure for greater comfort. Adjustable temperature control allows you to set the water at a comfortable temperature. Waterbeds significantly ease the discomfort of backpain, arthritis and rheumatism.
The water bed can be located directly on the floor or sat on a custom plinth where it allows mobile hoist legs to go under the mattress to allow the positioning of someone directly onto the water bed.
