Sensory-stimulating chair with balls
Protac SenSit® is a sensory-stimulating chair for children and grown-ups impacted by mental and physical unrest.
The movement and the deep touch pressure of the 5cm balls in the back and top layer of the seat stimulate the sense of touch and the proprioceptive sense – a stimulation of these senses enhances the awareness of the body and provides a sense of security and calmness in head and body.
The bottom of the chair is filled with granulate which makes the chair malleable to each user. You can form a recess in the back of the seat before sitting down for optimal seating comfort. The wings of the chair are also filled with balls and can both be used to stabilise the user and to adapt to individual preferences for both seating position and sensory stimulation. Some like to be wrapped closely in all four wings for a strong sensory stimulation and a feeling of being closely surrounded for enhances comfort – others prefer to only use some of the wings or to use them for support.
There is an incontinence cover on the back of the seat, so in the event of an accident in the chair, one can easily zip the fabric off the seat and wash it. The chair can also be completely disassembled when one wishes to wash the entire cover.

Design and colours:
The Protac Sensit® is available in 5 colours as well as replacement washable covers. For added security it also has an incontinence cover on the seat.
The standard chair is suitable for individuals up to 180 cm. For people above 180 cm, the Sensit Chair High Back model is recommended.
The Sensit Chair is supplied with a Sensit Chair Puff. This is extremely versatile and the range of uses to which it can be put means that it is used in settings as varied as day nurseries, schools, psychiatric units, activity centres, somatic hospitals, private homes and waiting rooms.
