Our Fibre optic Carpet Kits include a high quality fibre optic carpet as well as a bright LED light source available in either white twinkle or coloured twinkle.
They are manufactured here in the UK from high quality carpet with fibre optic strands woven into the fabric. The floor version features a whipped edge to prevent it fraying. These can lay on top of existing carpet or vinyl flooring.
The wall-mountable version is bonded to a 6mm MDF board and has a 45mm decorative profile around the perimeter. This allows you to fix mirror plates around the perimeter and fix securely to a wall. It can be used on top of existing flooring to create a shimmering, colour changing star scene.
The carpet is safe for children to use and contains no source of heat or electricity, so they can safely used as a sparkling play mat, or just as a great visual/tactile effect.
Fibre Optic Carpets are hard wearing and durable, but are not recommended for areas with heavy traffic or where heavy items may be pushed over them.
