John Munroe Hospital Padding

We  completed the installation of floor and wall padding to a hospital room in Leek, Staffordshire. These pads offer protection from the hard surfaces in the room and helps prevent injury should a seizure occur.

All of our padding is made to fit the room that it is occupying, allowing us to pad around complex areas such as window reveals & doors to remove any potential danger from hard edges. This project required a lot of complex areas to be padded, including a sink.  To achieve this we created a wooden frame around the sink and then padded around it. To allow access to the sink a removable pad was made that is held in place by industrial Velcro (not to be mistaken for consumer grade Velcro). This also hides the sink and its hard surfaces when not in use.

This project used the Mid-Blue colour, which is a very popular selection; blue is a great calming colour! All of our padding is available in a wide variety of colours which do not affect the cost.
